For months John Wall and the Wizards announce that the playmaker will not resume the season, but some still doubted it. It’s now official, he won’t be in Orlando. This is the GM Tommy Sheppard who just announced it.
“Having someone in the bubble when they’re not playing makes some extra people, and I don’t think it’s wise to have guys in contact with the team who aren’t playing in because of the risks. ” Sheppard
Sheppard on Wall not going to Orlando: “Having somebody go into that bubble that’s not gonna play, that’s just more people going into the bubble. … I don’t think it’s wise to have people in and around the team that aren’t playing (because of) exposure.”
