An open Johan Museeuw in the VTM program ‘Latem Leven’. The Belgian cycling icon told an anecdote about the 1991 Tour de France. “My wife came to the Tour during the rest day. We were intimate then. The next day there was a tough mountain stage towards Jaca on the program. And I was the first to release from the peloton ”, Museeuw laughed. “I was behind the wheel all day and finally finished two seconds within the time limit. Since then I have never been intimate for a race again. ”
