Joe Rogan Reveals His One Big Question About Elon Musk’s Twitter Investment

Joe Rogan says he’s “really interested” in seeing the impact Elon Musk will have on Twitter after spending $2.9 billion to buy just over 9% of the social media platform.

In recent months, Elon Musk hasn’t drawn any punches when it comes to Twitter. While he still regularly shares his usual memes, the South African business tycoon is also critical of the platform.

It reached a point in late March where his followers encouraged him to buy Twitter outright. Musk, of course, didn’t do that, but he has invested nearly $3 billion in the social media giant and has a 9% stake in the company.

The 50-year-old has also been quick to work, as he has shared ideas for improving the platform with an edit button – which is now a work in progress – as well as tweaks to Twitter’s subscription model. He also piqued the interest of Joe Rogan.

In early April, Musk took a 9% stake in Twitter.

During the 1803 episode of the Joe Rogan experienceUFC commentator called Musk a “magician” when discussing his recent Twitter stock purchase.

“I’m excited because I hear they’re going to add an edit button now, that was one of the things he suggested,” Rogan said, addressing Musk’s polls and posts about changes.

However, the podcast giant was a little unsure whether the platform actually needs to value Musk’s input. “If he was actually listening… I don’t know how much power a 9% person has over a company, but do they still have to listen to him? Do you have to listen to him about banning people?” Rogan asked.

While Rogan is intrigued by the purchase, he admits there are still a lot of things up in the air that he needs to watch.

The podcast host is a rare poster himself on Twitter, but perhaps Musk’s presence at the company could persuade him to change that.
