Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – United States President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were temporarily evacuated from their vacation home on Saturday (4/6/2022) local time.
They were evacuated after a small private plane pop up into restricted airspace over Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The plane was immediately escorted out of restricted airspace. The pilot of the plane that entered the villa’s airspace, who was not named, will be questioned about the incident.
“Initial investigation revealed the pilot was not on the right radio channel, not following NOTAMS [pemberitahuan kepada penerbang] that have been submitted and do not follow published flight guidelines,” US Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Reuters, Sunday (5/6/2022).

The incident occurred just before 1pm, causing quite a stir and confusion in downtown Rehoboth Beach on a busy weekend. By then the presidential motorcade was racing through town before returning to the Biden residence.
A Secret Service official said preventive security measures had been taken, but there was no significant threat to the president.
