Job Opening: Head of Match Day Organization and Ticketing for Handball Sport Verein Hamburg

Hanseatic! down to earth! Determined! Of passion!

Your role with us:
• Head of match day organization and ticketing.

• You are responsible for ensuring that our home games run smoothly. As a “spider in the web”
you pull the strings so that all the gears mesh. From the preparation to the implementation to the follow-up including the cooperation with various trades, the match day helpers and the team at the office, you always have an overview.

• You also work closely with our ticket provider and are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the ticketing system and are only satisfied when you have been able to completely solve the concerns of our fans and partners.

• The strategic planning and conception of events is your passion – in close coordination with other departments you design events such as trade fair appearances, fan campaigns or other event formats. As a team player, you are passionate about inspiring our fans and creating special moments.

• As an organizational talent, you love detailed and structured work and always keep an overview – even when things get hectic and flexibility is required.

• As a forward thinker, you always have the next step in mind and are not afraid to question the familiar and to contribute to the further development of the Handball Sport Verein Hamburg through creativity and enthusiasm. In plain language: We are looking for a doer and not a clerk.

Your profile:

• A degree / completed training in the field of event management, sports management or a comparable subject – but we are also happy to be convinced of supposedly unconventional ways!

• Experienced handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quick grasp of new programs

• First professional experience in the organization of events

• Absolute plus: Experience working with ticketing systems

• Affinity for sports and passion for impulsive work in a young team

• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and holidays

• A high quality standard for one’s own work

• Reliability, independence and a quick grasp

• Ability to work in a team, resilience and communicative competence

Do you think this could fit? Then become part of our team and apply by email – consisting of a CV and a short cover letter – to our office manager Kristin Gärtner ([email protected]) and tell us your salary expectations and your earliest possible starting date.
