CONTEXT AND SPECIFICITIES

The employee is placed under the authority of the President of SIVOM and the manager of the canteen.

PURPOSE – SYNTHETIC DESCRIPTION:

The canteen supervisor must accompany the children from school to the catering centre; he ensures the reception, helps the children during the meridian break, supervises and animates during the break times.

Main activities :

. responsibility for the children entrusted to him,
. child safety guarantor,
. supervision of children’s movements between buses and premises,
. help with welcoming children (help with dressing, undressing, washing hands),
. supervising children, helping with meals if necessary,
. help with the preparation and distribution of meals,
. help with service and clearing tables,
. enforce the rules,
. assistance with the maintenance of equipment and premises,
. consideration of each child as a unique individual,
. supervision and organization of activities and games according to the age of the children.

Technical knowledge / skills / abilities:

. know the regulations relating to the organization of the reception of minors and the implementation of activities,
. know the safety instructions (preventive measures, emergency numbers, behavior to observe in the event of an incident, incident or accident, …),
. know how to manage your time,
. pedagogical spirit,
. patience,
. know how to detect anomalies and malfunctions and report them,
. autonomy and efficiency,
. discretion.
