Joachim was hospitalized for over a week and a half after being rushed under the knife due to blood clot in his brain. Last week it turned out that he had no lasting consequences from the brain injury. It was then expected that the prince would make a full recovery.
According to the court, Joachim’s health has now improved to such an extent that he is allowed to recover ‘at home’. The prince now resides at the French winery of his parents Château de Cayx in Cahors.
The royal family asks to guarantee the privacy of Joachim in the near future. Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie also took the opportunity to thank the hospital staff for the excellent care the Prince received.
