Canada’s mandatory 14-day quarantine forced Pierre-Luc Dubois to postpone his debut with the Winnipeg Jets. The center player will play a first game with his new team on Tuesday, who is eager to participate in the intense duels of the Canadian division.

The former Columbus Blue Jackets has yet to meet his teammates but has been able to participate in the team matches via video conference. If he does not yet know who he will be paired with for this first game against the Calgary Flames, he knows he will get his money’s worth.

“I try to be quite optimistic. I think I’ll be good on the ice. It won’t be like last summer, where you didn’t work for two or three weeks and you have to start over in the middle of the summer, ”admitted Dubois, who has scored one goal in five games this season.
