JetBlue leads passenger flow in Dominican Rep

Jetblue Airways Corporation (N.Y.) with 2,664,597 passengers transported between January – November 2019, leads the top ten in the Dominican Republic according to the information provided to Infotur Dominicano by the Civil Aviation Board (JAC).

We remember that the first semester this airline of the United States had transported 1,465,482, so it continues to present a projection to exceed the 2,705,706 it transported in 2018, as we had already commented with the October figures

In the second place of this top 10, the American Airlines, Inc. airline is located with 1,317,691 passengers, in third place is the American airline Delta Airlines, Inc. that transported 1,267,877 passengers, while United Airlines, Inc. in the fourth place, it transported 836,807 passengers and closes the top 5 Panamanian airline Copa Airlines with 629,051 passengers, thus keeping these companies among the five with the highest passenger flow until November 2019 in the Dominican Republic

The Canadian; Air Transat At, Inc. remains in sixth place with 604,425 passengers then followed in the same order, by the following airlines that complete the top 10 between January – November 2019: Sunwing Airlines, Inc. 502,256; Spirit Airlines, Inc. with 359,674 ;; Air Canada 322,816; and Southwest Airlines Co. transporting 270,561 passengers.

From Europe, the airline with the highest passenger flow in these eleven months is Air Europa with 260,066 passengers. It is followed by Air France with 236,332 passengers and then Iberia with 179,507 passengers.

While from Latin America, the three main airlines with the highest flow of passengers in these eleven months, as Infotur Dominicano noted, excluding Copa that is in the top five are: Avianca with 243,421 passengers, Latam Airlines Peru S.A. / Lan Peru with 165,096 and Aerorepublica, S.A. (Copa Airlines Colombia) with 144,588 passengers.
