Not only shops and cars were targets of the rioters in Den Bosch on Monday evening, they also had their eye on the Jeroen Bosch Hospital. Rioters made an attempt to get to the hospital, but they failed. The director of the JHA confirms this.
At a certain point the rioters came towards the hospital. The situation was so dire that the hospital was locked as a precaution. Ambulances had to divert to other hospitals. “That was terrifying for the staff,” says director Piet-Hein Buiting of the Jeroen Bosch Hospital.
