The latest of these projects is exploring ways to improve alternatives to meat products.
It became known that 60 million dollars will be directed from the “Earth Fund” to improve alternative meat products, making them tastier and cheaper. As part of the project, research centers will be established that will work on improving the quality and nutritional value of meat product alternatives, as well as reducing production costs. All this could be facilitated by innovations in cell biology and engineering.

Jeff Bezos’s fiancee Lorena Sanchez, who is the vice-chairman of the Earth Fund, shared this news more widely. She has announced that improving meat alternatives is part of a larger $1 billion project to transform the food industry.
