A resident of GRNW lodged a complaint at the Jeetoo hospital post yesterday Tuesday January 26th. She alleges that she was the victim of medical negligence after having miscarried.
The young woman was two months pregnant when she started bleeding. In her statement, she explains that her baby was doing well after a first ultrasound but that she felt unwell following an injection given on January 22. Said injection, according to her, was made to “Maintain the baby’s position”. She also points out that she received conflicting versions from different doctors when she went to the hospital for treatment. The Ministry of Health has been informed of this matter and an investigation is underway.
