Al Ittihad Jeddah Club qualified for the final match of the Mohammed VI Cup for the Champions Clubs, “the Arab Championship”, after it defeated Al Shabab by two goals to one, Monday evening, in the second leg of the semi-final round of the competition.
The first-leg match between the two teams ended in a two-goal draw for each team at Al-Shabab Stadium, before Al-Ittihad excelled in the second leg, announcing its qualification for the Arab Final.
The Egyptian Ahmed Hegazy participated in the basic formation of the federation and was present in the meeting completely, to lead the team towards qualifying for the final.
Al-Ittihad is waiting for the winning team from between Ismaily and Raja, to face it in the final match, which will be decided next Monday after the return match between the two teams in Morocco.
The Ismaili had succeeded in defeating Raja with a clean goal in Ismailia during the first leg that was held several months ago, to go to Morocco, wishing to settle the qualification for the final.

Al-Shabab took only 34 seconds to reach the goal of progress against Al-Ittihad Jeddah, after a cross crossed the borders of the penalty area towards Fabio Martinez, who aimed a wonderful ball on the bird in the far left corner of Marcelo Grohe’s goal.

Ahmed Hegazy almost realized the equalizer for Al Ittihad in the 42nd minute of the first half, after receiving a high cross from a fixed kick inside the penalty area, to turn it with a strong header, but it passed next to the left post of the goal.
Romarinho succeeded in achieving the equalizing goal for Al Ittihad in the 75th minute of the match after a cross from Fahd Al Muwallad, so goalkeeper Zaid Al Bawardi and defender Mohamed Salem made a mistake in removing her, to lead the Brazilian, who hit it in the empty net.
Al-Shabab was close to returning to the advance quickly in the 77th minute after a ball returned from the Al-Ittihad defense to Ever Banega, who fired a wonderful shot, but it passed by the right post of Grohe.
Substitute Aleksandr Bryjovic realized the second goal of Al Ittihad in the 90 + 3 minute after a cross-ground without defensive supervision, and the next player fired it into the youth net, announcing the superiority of his team.
