Jean Reno has become rare in France since he settled on the other side of the Atlantic. His last appearance in Paris dates back to July 2019, when he participated in the exceptional screening of the Lion King at the Grand Rex in the presence of the cast composed of Rayane Bensetti, Anne Sila, Sabrina Ouazani, Jamel Debbouze and Alban Ivanov. The month before, in June, he had been spotted at the Disneyland Paris amusement park with his wife Zofia Borucka, their two sons. Cielo (born in 2009) and Dean (born in 2011), with their friend Laeticia Hallyday and her two daughters Jade (15 years old) and Joy (11 years old). Jean Reno is the godfather of Jade.
The 71-year-old French actor was out in New York on Monday, November 4, 2019, where he has lived for many years. Elegant in black, he participated in the Trophée des Arts Gala evening organized by the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) at Plaza Hotel, located south of Central Park. And Jean Reno was not alone for this New York event which promotes French and Francophone culture in the United States.
