JCI surged 1.03% on Wednesday (5/8), two shares of the top gainers gold producer LQ45

ILLUSTRATION. Wednesday (5/8), JCI rose 1.03% or 52.05 points to 5,127.05 at the end of trading with a foreign net sell of Rp 430 billion.

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) fluctuating moves today amid the release of Indonesia’s economic growth rate which is minus 5.32% on an annual basis in the second quarter of 2020. Wednesday (5/8), IHSG finally shot up 1.03% or 52.05 points to 5,127.05 at the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Nine sectors move together with CSPI. Only the plantation sector today edged down 0.02%. While the highest increase was the mining sector by 2.98%. The infrastructure sector rose 2.25%. The consumer goods sector rose 1.85%. The manufacturing sector climbed 1.47%.

The multifarious industry sector rose 1.39%. The basic industrial sector gained 0.82%. The trade and services sector index rose 0.77%. The financial and construction sector rose respectively 0.18% and 0.16%.

Today’s total transaction volume reached 10.39 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 9.33 trillion. A total of 241 shares gained. But 173 shares fell in price and 160 shares were flat.

  • PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) 6,91%
  • PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) 6,38%
  • PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) 5,85%

Top losers LQ45 consists of:

  • PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) -1,51%
  • PT BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) -1,38%
  • PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) -1,07%

Even though the Jakarta Composite Index rose, foreign investors noted net sell Rp 435.81 billion in all markets. Shares with the largest net foreign sales are PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) Rp 111.9 billion, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) Rp. 58.2 billion, and PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) Rp.44.4 billion.

Shares with the largest net foreign purchase are PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) Rp 105.2 billion, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) Rp. 25.1 billion, and PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) Rp. 14.4 billion.
