JCI rose 0.40% at the end of trading Friday (23/10), ASII and BBRI were hunted by foreigners

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) strengthened in the last trading week. Friday (23/10), IHSG rose 20.37 points or 0.40% to 5,112.19 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Within a week, JCI edged up 0.17%.

In today’s trade, seven sectors lifted the JCI to the green zone. The construction and property sectors shot 3.66%. Miscellaneous industry sector surged by 2.44%. The plantation sector and consumer goods each rose 0.86%. The manufacturing sector strengthened 0.75%. The mining sector rose 0.36% and the financial sector rose 0.16%.

The infrastructure sector actually fell 1.18%. Basic industrial sector eroded 0.21%. The trade and services sector fell 0.08%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 11.11 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 8.36 trillion. Although the JCI strengthened, 223 stocks fell in price today. This number is more than the 191 stocks that rose. A total of 159 shares of the flat.

  • PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) 13,49%
  • PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) 5,92%
  • PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) 5,77%

Top losers LQ45 consists of:

  • PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) -3,46%
  • PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) -2,59%
  • PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) -2,41%

Foreign investors took note net sell IDR 45.69 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) IDR 252.4 billion, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (BRAKE) Rp 19.8 billion, and PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) IDR 17.1 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases were PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) IDR 197 billion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 36.6 billion, and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) IDR 10.9 billion.
