JCI increases for four consecutive days to 5,039 until Thursday (8/10)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) continued gains for the fourth day in a row since the start of the week. Thursday (8/10), the JCI rose 34.81 points or 0.70% to 5,039.14 at the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Of the 10 sectors, only the construction and property sectors still fell 1.10%. Nine sectors strengthened. Miscellaneous industry sector recorded the highest increase, namely 1.78%. The manufacturing sector strengthened 1.01%. The consumer goods sector rose 1%. The infrastructure sector strengthened 0.91%. The plantation sector strengthened 0.77%.

The financial sector rose 0.70%. The basic industrial sector also gained 0.69%. The mining sector rose 0.54%. The trade and services sector rose 0.48%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions today reached 9.84 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 6.48 trillion. A total of 257 stocks rose. There are 179 stocks that have fallen in price and 165 flat shares.

  • PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) 5,08%
  • PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) -4,52%
  • PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) 4,42%

Top losers LQ45 today is:

  • PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) -1,80%
  • PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) -0,64%
  • PT PP Tbk (PTPP) -0,57%

Foreign investors took note net sell IDR 61 billion in the regular market and net buy IDR 50 in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases are PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 99.2 billion, PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (UNIQUE) IDR 51.3 billion, and PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) IDR 45.7 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 90.8 billion, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) Rp 78.3 billion, and PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) Rp 23.4 billion.
