Kochi: Actor Jayasurya has given three proposals to the appointed mayor of Kochi Advocate M. Anil Kumar for urban development and public welfare activities. The mayor was sharing his experience of seeing Jayasurya at home on Facebook. He also said that the social commitment of the star was very impressive.

Jayasuriya had suggested to the mayor that at least the main streets in the city should be selected and greened with plants and flowers, that the municipality should provide facilities for bringing in used but good clothes and giving artists the opportunity to perform. The mayor made it clear that he had accepted all three proposals right there and that we should be able to put them all into practice.

Sri Jayasurya is one of the most influential film stars in my mind these days. After I took over as mayor, he called. He wanted the mayor to come and see him.

But it seemed to me that it was not at all appropriate to call a great film star, an artist, to the municipal office with so many fans. I told him I would go there and see him. I went to his house and saw him. It was only when I started the conversation that I understood why he called me.

He is thinking about the future of Kochi city. He put forward 3 important points and suggestions. One. It was an idea that was on my mind and that we all want. It was to keep the city clean and to green the main streets of the city with select plants and flowers. The second suggestion also touched my heart .., it was an idea about giving clothes to needy people.
I have heard that this is the case in many foreign countries. He told me that the municipality should facilitate the importation of used but good clothes.

The third suggestion also affects me. It was meant to give artists the opportunity to perform on city streets. I wholeheartedly accepted all three of his suggestions right there. We need to be able to put all of this into practice. In a matter of moments, I realized that his wife was the reason behind that sunshine.

Dear Sri Jayasurya. I greet you with all my heart. The experience of watching with you has led to the question of whether there are film actors who behave so lovingly.
My city and I are forever indebted to you. May I hold you close to my heart for thinking of us and, above all, of thinking of poor human beings.
