The bad accident at Mugello during the Moto3 qualifying it has greatly shaken the MotoGP riders. Giancarlo di Filippo, FIM medical officer, announced what was known in these hours: “Jason Dupasquier was involved in a very serious accident during the Q2 of the Moto3. The FIM medical intervention team arrived immediately at the scene of the accident, then he was transferred to the Careggi Hospital in Florence in stable haemodynamic conditions and updates from the hospital are expected. At the moment we know for sure that it is in very serious condition and as I said we are waiting for updates“.
The fourth MotoGP free practice session and therefore also qualifying have been postponed by 30 minutes. Waiting for a helicopter to take the Swiss pilot away. His conditions remain very difficult, so much so that it was decided to postpone the operation due to the double head trauma, very serious, and thoracic. The television images did not postpone what happened. We only know that Jason Dupasquier lost control of his KTM at the exit of the Arrabbiata 2, after a change of slope, and the two riders behind, Ayumu Sasaki and Jeremy Alcoba, could not avoid it.

I have no information on what happened, I hope Jason is fine and everything was a scare“.
