Many of you wanted Jaroslav Halak to make his comeback in the Canadian’s uniform, right? Let him become the assistant Carey Price so badly needs and stabilize the entire organization … while closing the loop on a journey that has thrilled Montreal fans.
But now the Cerberus has chosen instead to apply the adage that we do not repair what is not broken. He therefore extended his contract with the Bruins for the next campaign.

He will earn $ 2.25 million and bonuses are included in his agreement. It’s the ideal format for a backup.
There are bonuses in Jaroslav Halak’s contract that will soon allow him to earn $ 3.5M. If he plays ten games he will receive an additional $ 1.25M. @NHLBruins #tvasports

In 71 games in two seasons in Boston, he had no less than 40 wins. Just in 2019-20, we’re talking about an 18-6-6 record, which is still 14 more wins than all Carey Price assistants this season.
Imagine if the CH had had such an assistant. The team would be in the playoffs.
With a Tuukka Rask that is rested, the Bruins can enter the playoffs with confidence. If anything happens to the starter, the Bruins know they can count on their deluxe assistant.
Jaroslav Halak signs a one-year contract with the Bruins for next season at $ 2.25 million. A little surprising given their young goalies in system, but Rask and Halak are arguably best tandem in the league

Here is a good file which is settled in Boston.
Extension
Since Rask earns seven million dollars, the two masked men of the Bruins earn less than Car… ah and you already know.
