The Japan National Tourism Organization is participating in the Arab Travel Market 2024, to communicate with business professionals and present Japan as a major tourist destination, the name Visit Japan, has increased from 9 institutions in 2023 to 14 institutions this year, which confirms that this partnership reflects the growing interest and cooperation between stakeholders in the Japanese tourism sector and their counterparts in the Middle East .

As the world moves from “Expo Dubai 2020” to “Expo Osaka, Kansai 2025,” the Japan National Tourism Organization is eager to seize the opportunity to showcase Japan’s unique cultural heritage, magnificent landscapes, and experiences diverse in the Middle East market, and focus on strengthening strong relations between Japan and the Gulf Cooperation Council region, and benefiting from the continued demand and demand for international travel from share to Japan.

As interest in the destination rose from citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in 2023 the number of citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries who visited Japan increased to 33,212 visitors , a noticeable increase of 401.3% compared to 2022 numbers.
