Jānis made his debut in music in 2016, in 2019 his debut album was released. So far this year, the singles “Kitchen with us” and “When empty words” with the b-side have been released, as well as two new videos have been made. This year Jānis wants to highlight another song, it is “Fog”, or another name “Let me sit next to him”.

Jānis’ music is about current things in the shades of airy postbank. It may be a bit unusual for this genre, but his music also alternates with slower songs (this can already be heard on the 2019 album).

In the demo version, Jānis had played the acoustic guitar himself, but over time he had the idea to offer it to someone else. Since he has always liked Ginta Sol’s style of playing the guitar and found it inspiring, Jānis imagined that Gints was the person to be offered. Sola agreed and after a few days sent the first sample of the record. In addition, Gints played the accordion.
