“Janice Blok: From ‘Secret Singer’ to Acting and Real Girls in the Jungle”

It’s rapper Donnie’s turn to sing a duet with his ‘secret singer’. Together they sing the song ‘Adrenaline’. The panel members soon conclude that she is a good singer. “Everyone besides me is a professional singer,” says Donnie with a laugh.

The other panelists have no idea who is hiding behind the wall until they take a closer look at the setting on stage: “I see a jungle,” Berget Lewis notes. That is the moment when a bell starts ringing with the other panelists. “Oh! Maybe Real Girls In The Jungle.”

Good news for the panelists, because everyone, except Buddy Vedder, knows it’s Janice Blok standing there on stage. Janice does not see this result coming. “I so expected you wouldn’t guess.” The green leaves and jungle branches betrayed her. “Then someone Real Girls called, I thought: now I’m falling through the basket.”

After her participation in Real Girls In The Jungle Janice hasn’t been sitting still and she’s throwing herself into making videos for Instagram and TikTok. Although she wants to change her career. “I’m also going into the acting side a bit now.” She already has fun projects planned. “Coincidentally, I’m flying to another country tomorrow for a nice film shoot.”
