Jan Starken leaves Bonprix, Maja Räger heads new communications department | KOM – Magazine for Communication

Jan Starken, Head of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at Bonprix, is leaving the company at the end of the year. Starken has been employed at the Otto Group subsidiary since 2010, including more than six years in his current position. According to his Linkedin-Posts He leaves at his own request in order to set other priorities in his life: “I have achieved everything professionally – now other things count: Above all, family, friends, joy and health.”

Starken began his career over 30 years ago at the Otto Group, where he most recently worked as Head of Marketing & Sales for Bonprix Poland. From 2000 to 2010 he worked for Tchibo Direct, first as Head of International Marketing & Sales and then as CEO and Managing Director for over six years. In 2010 he joined Bonprix as Vice President International Marketing, Category Management and PR.

House Räger took over the Corporate Communications & Employer Branding department on October 1st as part of the realignment of the HR department at Bonprix. She has been working as team leader for internal communication at Bonprix since November 2016 and is largely responsible for the professionalization, digitalization and internationalization of internal communication. Räger previously worked as head of communications and human resources at the Hamburg management consultancy Schickler and as a lecturer in internal communication at Quadriga Media Berlin.
