He writes about the fact that Pospieszalski’s next project has problems portal Wirtualnemedia.pl. In mid-August, Pospieszalski, together with Jan Pawlicki, launched the “Janek Pospieszalski #WARTO” channel on YouTube. It mainly deals with COVID-19.

Pospieszalski and Pawlicki wanted to search for money for their activity on the Internet. They launched a fundraiser on the Patronite.pl website, the goal of which is 24 thousand. PLN per month. However, until Wednesday, September 8, as reported by Wirtualnemedia.pl, not even a zloty was credited to the account. Patronite blocked the possibility of collecting money. As you can read in the justification – the reason is that “The Scientific Council of Patronite.pl negatively assessed the content of the author regarding the COVID-19 epidemic”. The link next to Pospieszalski’s business card refers to the website of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The hosts of the program on YouTube responded to the matter.

“Someone did call me from the science council a few days ago, but I couldn’t answer, I was on tap. I did not think the matter could be serious – commented Pospieszalski for Virtual Media.

“This is standard procedure, I was assured: verification is ongoing, but all will end well. I have provided the scientific council of Patronite.pl with the required documents and they are now checking them. The start of the collection is significantly delayed by this, but I am convinced that we will start with it at the end of this week – said Pawlicki.

Patronite.pl did not respond to the portal’s request for a comment on this matter.

Jan Pospieszalski’s “It’s Worth Talking” will not return to TVP

In April, TVP could watch the episode “It’s Worth Talking”, in which the host Jan Pospieszalski and invited guests – doctors, lawyer, columnist – spoke critically about the coronavirus vaccination strategy adopted in Poland. The content that could be heard caused outrage, among others Joanna Lichocka, a PiS deputy, who is also a member of the National Media Council. A week later, “It’s Worth Talking” no longer appeared on the air – the program was canceled just before the scheduled time. It was also missing in the autumn TVP schedule.

The TVP Ethics Committee explained that the program violated the principles of journalistic ethics because it presented only critical opinions about the PiS government’s fight against COVID-19. The editors of the program said on social media that they did not accept such an explanation.
