The Ethiopian shooting star admittedly had a modest best rating of 1500 meters ahead of Friday’s competition.

Ingebrigtsen himself can say that he did not have the day of his life on the tartan deck in Switzerland.
– I feel that there is some training left in my legs from the last one and a half to two weeks in St. Moritz. I feel I have been forced to do it so that the next races and the WC at the end of the season will be good. I am not as sharp as I could have been here, he explains to NRK.
