Jadon Sancho shine again together Borussia Dortmund. The English winger returned to help his team win over Cologne Of Bundesliga.
This time Sancho was introduced as a starter when Dortmund visited headquarters Cologne at RheinEnergie Stadium, Cologne, Germany, in the German League continued, Saturday (20/1/2024) evening WIB. The 23 year old player helped Die Borussen win 4-0.
Sancho didn’t make a goal or assist, but his action helped Dortmund score a goal. The moment occurred in the second half of the match.
After the break, Sancho awarded Dortmund a penalty through his action. The player on loan from Manchester United was dropped by a player Cologne in the penalty box.
On the left side of the penalty, Jadon Sancho try to get close to the penalty. He tried to poke two Cologne players, before Rasmus Carstensen grabbed his jersey.

Sancho fell, and the referee gave Dortmund a penalty. Niclas Fullkrug then became the executor, and was able to put the ball into the goal. Dortmund’s lead increased to 2-0, after Donyell Malen scored a goal in the first half.
Sancho was then withdrawn in the 66th minute. Dortmund itself was able to add two more goals after the penalty, through Malen’s second goal and one goal from Youssoufa Moukoko.
Sancho himself has just returned to Dortmund. He was loaned to MU, after losing his place in the squad due to being punished by Erik ten Hag.
On his debut back to Dortmund, Jadon Sancho immediately made an assist against Darmstadt. Now another action from the winger made his team score three more points.
Victory makes Borussia Dortmund still stuck in fifth place in the German League standings with 33 points from 18 matches. Meanwhile Cologne is still in 17th position with just 11 points.
