J-Hope from BTS enters active duty in the army without fanfare.

J-Hope of the group BTS is enlisting as an active duty soldier.

On the 1st, Big Hit Music announced through the global fan community Weverse that “J-Hope will enlist as an active duty soldier in the Army to fulfill his military service obligations.”

The agency did not disclose the unit J-Hope is enlisting in and the specific enlistment date.

J-Hope is enlisting for the second time after the eldest brother, Jin.

Previously, on the 16th of last month, J-Hope said through a Weverse live broadcast, “The (enlistment) date has already been announced, and it is time to prepare.” He announced his enlistment plan after completing his enlistment postponement cancellation application in February. The agency said, “The entrance ceremony at the boot training center is a place where a large number of soldiers and their families are together.”

In addition, J-Hope recently released a solo single ‘on the street’ in collaboration with American rapper J-Cole.
