Bocanda, November 20, 2022 (AIP) – Sixty-three bags of blood were collected during a blood donation operation organized in Bocanda (Centre-East, N’zi region)
This blood collection operation was organized on Wednesday November 16, 2022 by the non-governmental organization “Social Protection Actions in Africa” (APSA), in collaboration with the blood transfusion center (ATS) of Daoukro.
It is part of the NGO’s “social and humanitarian actions” component, indicated its president Noufé Sansan Mathias who deplored the frequent lack of blood in the health facilities of Bocanda, causing the evacuation of patients to Bouaké or Daoukro, often with death .
President Noufé welcomed the mobilization of the populations allowing the success of this operation which received the support of the health district and the authorities of the Bocanda department.
