Iversen was number 28 in the prologue, but feels that something is wrong.

– Complete crisis
Iversen has been pre-selected for the Olympics, but as of today it does not appear that he will be allowed to do any exercises.
– Now it is a complete crisis, says TV 2 expert Petter Northug.
– We are in the lowlands, and his body still does not work. It was a good race for him yesterday in terms of track and lead, but it did not work. He looked dead and tired in the prologue today. In a normal sprint field he had not progressed. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a flash of light from Iversen, Northug analyzes.
– Do you think he’s resigning from the Olympic venue?
– We have been on plan b now. I think he and Eirik Myhr Nossum make a plan c. It must give results within 14 days. If it does not work and the status is the same, I think he chooses to quit the Olympics, says Northug.
Shelves tactical maneuver
However, the TV 2 expert praises Iversen for a tactical maneuver before saying thank you.
– He chose heat one. Then there will be one smaller runner in the heat for Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, who leads the Tour overall. Now there are only five runners in that heat. Klæbo can move on even if he has an accident. From a Norwegian team perspective, it was tactical for Iversen to choose heat one when he was still going home, says Northug.
