Survivor contestants are still fighting on an island in the Dominican Republic. During the harshest reality show, they hit rock bottom and face food shortages, lack of hygiene and tough challenges. One of the fighters is Ivana Jirešová. In an interview with TV Nova, her mother expressed her fear and dread for her daughter’s participation.
The Survivor reality show is in full swing. Contestants face harsh challenges, lack of food or a complete lack of hygiene. Ivana Jirešová is still in the Titan tribe, fighting as hard as she can. For New TV the mother of the sympathetic actress spoke and admitted that she was very worried about her. She discouraged her from participating in the competition.
Ivana’s mother warned her in advance and tried to talk her out of participating. “I know the reality show. I watched number one and number two. I told her not to be silly, that she knows it and won’t be able to do it, she’s such a badass, and that I would be worried about her health. Besides, she had it complicated, because she had some commitments in the theater. I was telling her why she was making her life so complicated.” he admits. “Physically, it can also take a toll on her. When I saw the first episode and saw how she was huddled there, I almost cried when I saw my little girl there. She is also terribly cold and hates the cold just like me, ” he adds.

Ivan’s participation was not supported by family or acquaintances
Before the actual departure, she also had major complications in her working life. She received no support from almost anyone. “She always does what she wants, but she was sorry that her colleagues in the industry did not support her and declared that she was stupid and did not understand where this was going. She expected them to support her, but they threw sticks under her feet. She did not get support from me, from colleagues, and yet she went there. But that’s all Ivanka is. She has such a character that when she sets a goal, she persistently pursues it.” explains.
Ivana’s mother is also clear about what her daughter could pay extra for. “She has one very big drawback. She trusts people. She’s very trusting and thinks everyone is good. It’s easy for someone to take advantage of that. And they already have. She can’t lie. She’s going to have these problems and I’m already something she saw. He’s already pretending and lying there, and she won’t be able to do it.” means
Ivana is thinking about her mother on the island. She didn’t even forget her birthday and sent a song to her most loved and closest person in the latest episode. Together with the whole tribe they sang to her. Jirešová didn’t even forget the heart-wrenching message. “Happy birthday mom. I’m sending you a kiss and thank you for being with you and being who I am.” she said with a smile.
