It’s true! See what temperatures were recorded today

Today in Varna and a number of other populated places in northeastern Bulgaria, air temperatures higher than those of December 11 were measured. The hottest in the maritime capital on this date was 18.4° in the distant 1937 year, and the coldest in 1989 (-10.9°). In Plovdiv the maximum temperature today reached 20 degrees.

Russia 22.2°C (17.6°C in 1982)

Silistra – 20.8°C (18°C in 1944)

Razgrad – 20.9°C (17.4°C in 1999)

Shumen – 20.4°C (17.9°C in 1915)

Dobrich – 19.3°C (16.2°C in 1944)

Karnobat – 18.4°C (18.2°C in 1950)

Cape Kaliakra – 15.8°C (15°C in 1949)

Cape Emine – 17°C (15°C since 2011)

Burgas – 19.2°C (17.6°C in 1950)

Varna – 19.9°C (18.4°C in 1937).
