1. Whoever gets vaccinated gets ice cream
After inoculation at the medical point on the street, you can get ice cream in the ice cream parlor, including trying a new beer and coffee flavor. Vaccines and ice cream will be served in the evening until 22.00.
Tens of thousands of Rome’s inhabitants spend the weekends on the beaches and restaurants in Ostia.
“The vaccine is the only effective defense against the spread of infections. We need to offer more opportunities to vaccinate all, especially young people“- said Marta Branca, the director of the local health care department.
As she added, the medics decided to “go out to people to promote vaccinations and make them possible without long queues and reservations”.
