In Italy, you can buy a Jeep Wrangler that looks very similar to the Chinese car manufacturer called ICKX K2, which is about 15,000 euros cheaper than the real Jeep Wrangler.
The Ickx K2 is 4.64 meters long, slightly shorter than the transoceanic original, but it measures 1.92 and 1.87 meters in width and height. The basis of the car is a “ladder-type” frame, plug-in all-wheel drive, transfer box with reduction gears and differential locks. Add to this the 22 mm clearance and the manufacturer’s claim that the Ickx K2 can overcome water obstacles up to 50 cm deep. Approach/departure angle – 37/31 degrees, respectively.
The Ickx K2 is offered with a 2.0 liter turbo diesel engine that develops 163 PS and 380 Nm and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. According to the Chinese brand, the 2.2-ton Ickx K2 consumes an average of 10.3 liters of fuel per 100 km and can reach a top speed of 160 km/h.
Standard equipment includes two 12.3-inch screens, dual-zone automatic climate control, a multimedia system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated leather seats.
In Germany, a Jeep Wrangler equipped with a 272 hp gasoline engine costs at least 69,900 euros, while the K2 can be bought in Italy for less than 55,000 euros.
