It will gradually start raining all over the Czech Republic, sometimes even heavily. Rain with totals of 60 to 80 millimeters of precipitation in 24 hours is expected by meteorologists, especially in the northern areas to the top of the mountains, in other regions in eastern Bohemia and Moravia and in Silesia between 30 and 60 millimeters.
It will continue to snow in the mountains
Above 700 meters above sea level, precipitation will be mixed or snowy, and especially in the mountains in the north and northeast, the territory will fall from ten to 30 centimeters of snow. On Pustevny and Lysá hora in the Beskydy Mountains, on Tuesday morning there were already several centimeters of snow and temperatures below freezing. Wet snow can temporarily occur even in middle positions, especially in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, meteorologists said.
