Plea for a redesigned computer science class

Digital education does not only mean imparting knowledge via digital processes with the help of digital educational offers and media, but also skills development and is therefore a central tool for participation in society and in the labor market of the future. IT skills are not only required in everyday work in the digital industry. The entire job market is undergoing a digital transformation. Even professions that have long appeared remote from technology are now determined by digitally supported technologies and require digital skills and basic IT knowledge. Schools must prepare young people for this digital world, the complexity of which will continue to increase.
