The double cabin pickup also benefits from a new rear door with a larger integrated spoiler and revised taillight graphics.

The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 4×4 looks more solid thanks to the extra plastic layer around the grille, aluminum-style skid plate, wide fenders and 18-inch matte black alloy wheels.

Entering the cabin, the Isuzu D-Max is now equipped with a 9-inch touch screen for infotainment with touch-sensitive buttons. There are still physical knobs for volume and tune underneath combined with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.

Isuzu adds USB-C ports for front and rear passengers, as well as a new key with remote engine start function.

The new Isuzu D-Max still uses a 1.9 liter engine which can produce 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS) and 350 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the more powerful 3.0 liter Isuzu D-Max produces 187 hp (140 kW / 190 PS) and 450 Nm.

The power is channeled through the rear wheels (2WD) or to all four wheels (4WD) via a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

The New Isuzu D-Max is equipped with more sophisticated features. Now has expanded traction control to help with off road needs. Most recently, the Isuzu D-Max has “Rough Terrain Mode”, this feature can help control the brakes and engine according to the road terrain.

Safety equipment has been improved thanks to a new Advance Driving Assistance System (ADAS) with a heating function for cold weather.

Sales of the new D-Max are scheduled to start on October 12 in Thailand, and other global markets will follow gradually.

Prices for the New Isuzu D-Max start from 540,000 Baht or around Rp. 224 million for the cheapest 2-door and 2WD regular cab version. Meanwhile, the highest trim version, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 4×4, reaches up to 1,257,000 Baht or the equivalent of IDR 534 million.

Currently, the Isuzu D-Max is offered in more than 100 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central America, South America and Oceania. However, Thailand remains the strongest market for the pickup, with 180,000 units out of 340,000 global sales in 2022.
