Harry Doukas was welcomed by the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglou.
As Haris Doukas mentions in his Facebook post today, he had a bilateral meeting with Imamoglou, adding that it is his commitment to work closely together.
“It was my great pleasure to accept Ekrem Imamoglu’s invitation, to attend yesterday’s Europe Day event and today to have a bilateral meeting with him. I thank him for the warm welcome. It is our commitment to work closely together for the welfare of citizens and the progress of our historic cities. I will continue my contacts with mayors, so that in the upcoming European elections, the progressive voices against populism and intolerance will prevail”, says the Mayor of Athens in his post.
