Israir climbed to third place in Israel

The Israir airline qualified for third place in the list of the most active companies in Israel. This is clear from the Airports Authority’s latest activity report on the National Airport.

The report shows that in the month of July, Israir flew 135,625 passengers, which constituted 5.32% of all passengers in Israel. These figures represent an increase of more than 28% compared to the month of July last year, when Israir flew 105,749 passengers. On this the Sages said “You have touched and found – believe”. Uri Sirkis is making a school for the other Israeli airlines.

In doing so, Israir overtook Turkish Airlines (135,348 passengers) and Ryanair (130,024), which entered the fourth and fifth places. At the top of the companies most active in the airport are El Al with 578,726 passengers and a 22.73% market share, and in second place is Visair with 235,250 passengers and 9.24% of the activity in the airport. Turkey continues to maintain its position as the destination with the most passengers – 335,781 passengers and 13.19% of all traffic, but many of the passengers only stop in Istanbul for a stopover and immediately continue on connection flights. Greece is in second place with 281,719 passengers and 11.06% of the activity in the airport. They were followed by the USA with 211,160 passengers and 8.29% of the activity in the field.

Last month, 24,766 passengers flew to Russia, of which 6,109 flew with Red Wings, which operates direct flights from Tel Aviv to Sochi, Chakhakala and Moscow via Mineralnye Vody, and 7,908 with Azimut, which operates flights to Sochi and Mineralnye Vody.
