Israeli Bombing and Fuel Shortages Shut Down 10 Hospitals in Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that at least 10 hospitals were out of service due to Israeli bombing and fuel shortages.

The ministry stated in a statement that “the number of hospitals that stopped working due to bombing and fuel shortages rose to 10.”

The Ministry also reported that the total number of medical institutions of various types that ceased service as a result of being exposed to Israeli bombing reached 29 institutions.

The Gaza Strip has been subjected to Israeli land, sea and air bombardment since the Hamas movement and other Palestinian factions launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7.

The “Al-Aqsa Flood” was met with the Israeli “Operation Iron Swords”, where the Israeli army launched raids on the Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions, as a result of an ongoing Israeli siege since 2006.

The death toll from the Israeli bombing exceeded 4,600 dead and about 14,000 wounded in the Gaza Strip, and 58 dead and more than 1,250 wounded in the West Bank.

On the Israeli side, about 1,300 people were killed, including 291 officers and soldiers, while Hamas captured more than 200 Israelis.
