An imminent terrorist attack was stopped, according to the Israeli Air Force.

The Israeli air force writes on X/Twitter that they have attacked what they refer to as a “terrorist route” in a tunnel under a mosque in Jenin in the West Bank.
– In the mosque there was a terrorist cell from the terrorist organization Hamas and Islamic Jihad, writes the Air Force on Twitter.
They claim this cell was close to carrying out a terrorist attack.
The Air Force has also published pictures of what is supposed to show a hatch down to the tunnel under the mosque.
The Israeli Defense Forces have announced that they will step up airstrikes against Gaza.
– We will increase the number of attacks, minimize the risk to our forces in the next stage of the war, we will intensify the attacks and it starts today, said IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari earlier on Saturday.
Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi told his commanders on Saturday that they are planning the long-announced ground invasion of Gaza. It writes CNN.
