Is X (formerly Twitter) the Correct Name? Confusion and Clarity Explained

Anyway confusing. Many media including Tweakers calls it nowadays

X (formerly Twitter)

But is this true? When you visit x.com or Twitter.com you always go to the latter site.
It says welcome to Twitter everywhere, login to Twitter ect. Even the mobile app is still called, yes, Twitter.

It’s like that now that we’re going to call Facebook, Meta, formerly Facebook. That is not the case.

X is the company name just like Meta and Twitter/Facebook is the product.

In any case, Tweakers is also completely unclear, at the bottom of the photo of this article:
