KOMPAS.com – The Xiaomi 14 Series flagship cellphone was officially introduced by Xiaomi to the Chinese market at the end of last October. About a month after the launch, signs emerged that the cellphone would enter Indonesia.
This refers to site Domestic Component Level (TKDN) from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin). A mysterious Xiaomi cellphone that appeared on the page passed TKDN.
Usually, a smartphone must pass a test and obtain a TKDN certificate from the Ministry of Industry first, before it can be marketed in Indonesia.
So, on the Ministry of Industry’s TKDN page, a Xiaomi cellphone with model number 23127PN0CG passed the TKDN with a score of 38.20 percent.
When searched on the internet, a number of technology media outlets say that this model number refers to the “regular” Xiaomi 14 for the global market (marked with the letter “G” at the end), possibly including Indonesia.
For the Chinese market, the Xiaomi 14 itself has a similar model name, namely Xiaomi 23127PN0CC, where the letter “C” at the end of the model indicates that the cellphone is specifically for the Chinese market.

Apart from having to pass TKDN, cellphones entering Indonesia also usually have to obtain permission from the Directorate General of Post and Information Resources and Equipment (Dirjen SDPPI) of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo).
Until this news was written, the cellphone was model Xiaomi 23127PN0CG monitored have not received permission to circulate from the Director General of SDPPI.
It is not yet certain whether the latest Xiaomi cellphone model displayed on the Ministry of Industry’s TKDN page is actually the Xiaomi 14 or not. It is also not yet known whether this model is a regular model or a “Pro” model.
Moreover, Xiaomi has not released any information regarding the presence of the flagship smartphone successor to the Xiaomi 13 Series in Indonesia.
However, if it is true that the Xiaomi 14 will soon enter Indonesia, then it will likely be the first Xiaomi cellphone with HyperOS in the country. Xiaomi itself some time ago introduced the HyperOS interface which will replace MiUI.
Xiaomi 14 will also be the successor to Xiaomi 12 in Indonesia. Because, Xiaomi did not introduce the Xiaomi 13 series line into Indonesia. The only Xiaomi 13 series entering Indonesia is the Xiaomi 13T.

Referring to the launch in China, the Xiaomi 14 Series is the first Xiaomi cellphone to get Xiaomi’s newest interface (UI), namely HyperOS.
The UI, which is a replacement for MiUI, was developed with Android integration, as well as the Vela system which was designed by Xiaomi itself.
Compared to MiUI, HyperOS now has a more compact, concise and minimalist appearance. Apart from HyperOS, the Xiaomi 14 Series also comes with a Leica camera system like the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13T.
The difference is, the Xiaomi 14 Series is equipped with a Summilux Leica lens, which is different from the Summicron Leica lens on the Xiaomi 13 Series. This Summilux lens is said to be able to capture better lighting.
Apart from that, the Xiaomi 14 Series is also powered by the latest 4 nanometer (nm) chipset made by Qualcomm which was announced on October 24, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This cellphone has a RAM configuration of up to 16 GB and storage media of up to 1 TB.

The Xiaomi 14 Series, which consists of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, is also equipped with three cameras with the same resolution, namely 50 MP, 50 MP (telephoto, 3.2 optical zoom), and 50 MP (ultrawide).
On the front of these two phones, there is a selfie camera contained in a punch hole in the top center of the screen. This camera has a resolution of 32 MP.
Well, the difference between the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro lies in the screen, where the Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36 inch AMOLED screen, smaller than the Xiaomi 14 Pro with a 6.73 inch AMOLED screen.
Apart from the screen, the Xiaomi 14 battery is also smaller with a capacity of 4,610 mAh with support for 90 watt fast charging technology. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has a battery with a capacity of 4,880 mAh with 120 watt fast charging technology.
