Amsterdam – House prices are so high and the mortgage interest rate is so low that homebuyers are again opting for the interest-only mortgage more often. Stricter rules on mortgage interest relief and a ‘repayment obligation’ campaign by banks should have prevented this. How bad is it that buyers choose interest-only? Five questions.
