The Brazilian striker is currently recovering from an ankle surgery that will keep him from playing at PSG until the end of the season. Since then, Neymar has been traveling the world, having fun with his favorite hobby, poker games or with his girlfriend – or going to his Brazilian homeland like right now!
On Thursday, the star striker visited his home club FC Santos for a game in the Copa Sudamericana (comparable to the Euro League) against Chile club Audax Italiano (0-0) for a long time and was greeted with loud “Neymar ‘ chants from the fans celebrate.
Not only fans were happy about Neymar’s visit to Brazil. Brazilian journalists also took advantage of the opportunity to ask the 124-time national player questions about his future. And that’s when Neymar might even reveal his next club in an interview with “Globo Esporte”!
Neymar: “It’s nice to come home to me. I feel at home here and am happy to be back here after ten years. I came here to support Santos and get the fans’ affection. It was the club that gave me everything, that opened doors for me and my family, that revealed me to the world.”
He then promises: “One day I’ll be back, I’ll be back soon!” So is Neymar actually planning to return to his youth club?

But it is also known: The striker (contract until 2025) should not necessarily be happy in the star ensemble with world champion Lionel Messi (35) and Kylian Mbappé (24). The Brazilian is particularly fond of bickering with French child prodigy Mbappé – neither of whom are known for their small egos.
