Is LeBron James Out for the Remainder of the Lakers’ Season?

Things are not looking very good for the Los Angeles Lakers, since beyond the fact that they are in the middle of fighting for the places in the ‘play in’ tournament of the Western Conference, they may not have LeBron James for the rest of the 2022 regular season -23 of the NBA.

With three weeks remaining for the Californians’ calendar to conclude in the regular phase and waiting for it to be re-evaluated during the next week, a report by ESPN’s Brian Windhorst suggested that the “King” would still not be close to returning to the staves, progressing in his recovery, but still without medical approval to train.

Although his tendon injury in his right foot is not something serious, due to his age and with the goal of having James at 100% of his abilities, the Lakers will not rush the rehabilitation process any further, which initially could understand about three weeks, but that could be extended to almost five or six if necessary.

At the moment LeBron has missed 10 consecutive games since February 28, being a sensitive loss for his team, considering that he is the leader in offensive production with 29.5 points and 6.9 assists per game. In said period the team’s mark is 5-5, which keeps them tenth with 34 wins and 37 losses so far this season.
