Aliens Fireteam, according to Focus Home Interactive, will be released this summer and will be a multiplayer cooperative action FPS.
If you’re a follower of the Alien saga and love video games, you’re definitely looking forward to Aliens: Fireteam, the franchise’s new title. This video game is an FPS that focuses on cooperative multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard much news since its announcement, and players have missed that.
First, Cold Iron Studios indicated that the video game will arrive in the summer of 2021, which has recently been questioned by some players due to a lack of news. It’s true that it’s striking that there’s nothing new (we’ll see if we see something at the next summer events), but we can rest assured: they’ve confirmed that the appearance window is still the summer of 2021.
As Gamespot revealed, Focus Home Interactive (the game’s publisher in some areas, such as Europe) listed the video game for the summer of 2021. So despite listening for the past few weeks, everything seems to be going smoothly. Maybe E3 2021 or Summer Game Fest are good opportunities to talk more about the game and give a final release date.
Aliens: Fireteam will take place 23 years after the original Alien trilogy, and players will be able to choose different characters with different roles to defeat the xenomorphs.
