Now another such car is reportedly coming, and it is even supposed to be inspired by one of the biggest icons in the brand’s history – the F40 model.

This is stated on The Supercar Blog with a link to unnamed sources in the carmaker. The car is to be called the SP42 and has a 3.9-liter supercharged eight-cylinder from the F8 Tributo model in the bowels, which would mean 720 hp and 770 Nm.

In 2018, designer Samir Sadikhov wondered what the modern reincarnation of the legendary F40 might look like. Of course, there are no reports about the connection of his illustrations with the alleged upcoming specialty, but he will still give some idea of his work.
