The Defense Ministry showed a video of how Ukrainian defenders shot down Iranian drones, with which the Russian Federation tried to attack Kiev.
The video was published on the Telegram of the Ministry of Defense.
«Mobile groups executing combat orders: 241 Brigade of the Kyiv City Territorial Defense, GFTKh T-2 Demeevka and GFTKh Mriya cover Kyiv in a southerly direction,” the message read.
During the night of December 30 to January 2, these fighters shot down enemy drones trying to hit the capital’s critical infrastructure during a massive strike by the Russian Federation.
According to the Air Force, During the first days of the new year, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 84 Iranian drones – 100% of the amount that the Russian Federation used to attack.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said so Russia plans sustained Iranian drone strike Shahed.
«But we must do – and we will do everything – so that this goal of the terrorists fails, like all others,” Zelensky stressed.
