Iran called the consequences of a leak in the conversation of a dispatcher who spotted a rocket

A leak in the record of negotiations between the Iranian dispatcher and the pilot of the Aseman Airlines plane, who noticed a missile entering the Ukrainian Boeing 737-800, will affect the relations between Iran and Ukraine. The head of the incident investigation department of the Organization of Civil Aviation of the Islamic Republic, Hassan Rezayefar, spoke about such consequences. TASS.

He explained that publishing the record violates the law.

Transcript of the conversation was published Ukrainian media on the evening of February 2. The pilot of the Iranian aircraft, which was starting to descend, noticed an outbreak “like from a rocket” along the route and asked the dispatcher what happened there. The pilot on the record claimed that the rocket took off from the city. To this, the dispatcher answered him that they also did not understand on the ground where the source of the outbreak was, and expressed the hope that there should be no problems for the aircraft.

The Boeing 737-800 of Ukraine’s International Airlines crashed on the morning of January 8 when it left Tehran Airport. 176 people were killed, including 11 citizens of Ukraine. Iran admitted that it shot down a plane by mistake and proposed to pay the families of the victims 80 thousand dollars (about five million rubles). President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky refused compensation and stated that he intends to achieve payment of large amounts through an international court.

Iranian authorities decided to keep black boxes from the downed plane. This decision was criticized by the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. He called for giving them to another country, since Tehran does not have the technical capabilities to quickly calculate data.
